About Kensington
Kensington is an idyllic, small community located in the Berkeley Hills, in the East Bay. It is known as one of the best places to live in California. It is an unincorporated community, and is served by the West Contra Costa school district. Kensington is incredibly charming, due in large part to its gorgeous homes, well-maintained parks, and small town vibes.

Kensington has two small centers of commerce -- the Colusa circle and the Arlington shops. Here you can frequent some Mom and Pop shops that have long been mainstays of the area. Kensington's convenient location in the Bay Area makes it an ideal place to live, as it has a strong suburban feel but is still surrounded by all the excitement and activity that the East Bay has to offer.

Kensington's public schools are well rated, and there are several options for private education in the area, like Prospect Sierra and Montessori Family School. The Kensington Community Center is an active hub that regularly holds a plethora of interesting classes for all sorts. You can also buy some delicious produce at the Kensington Farmers market every Sunday at the Colusa circle.

Kensington is a gorgeous, peaceful town - perfect for families looking for that small town vibe in the midst of the hustle and bustle of the East Bay.
